The Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery Service is responsible for the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries, and disorders of the mouth, jaws, face, and related structures of the head and neck.

What does this service include?

• Treatment of jaw and facial fractures caused by trauma or accidents.
• Removal of complicated teeth (such as impacted wisdom teeth).
• Surgery for the correction of skeletal and dental deformities, such as misalignments of the jaws (orthognathic).
• Treatment of benign and malignant tumors, cysts, and other lesions of the mouth and jaws.
• Treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders that cause pain or restriction in jaw movement.

This service collaborates closely with other specialties such as ENT, neurosurgery, oncology, and dermatology to offer integrated and comprehensive treatment for patients.
